Contraindications

There are several skin types, temporary conditions and medical conditions which are assessed to ensure that the course of treatment will be 100% safe. Reasons not to start treatment include:

 

Temporary conditions

 

- Recently tanned skin or sun (UVA/UVB) exposure within one month prior to the session

- Intention to sunbathe within one month after each session

- Pregnancy

- Breast feeding 

- Photosensitivity (chronic, caused by a disease or medication)

- Varicose veins

- Blood coagulation problems

- Keloid scarring

- History of hypertrophic cicatrisation
