Is it permanent?
IPL has been approved by the FDA as a form of Permanent Hair Reduction. This reduction is an 80-90% permanent hair reduction in the zone(s) treated. (This is exactly the same as Laser – both are approved by the FDA as methods of permanent hair reduction)
You should remember that in order to achieve this, you should attend the full course of treatment and adhere to the recommended time frame guidance between each treatment. A permanent hair reduction of 80-90% will also mean that any remaining hair will be much more brittle and prone to breaking away by itself.
You should also remember that once you have completed your course of treatment it may be necessary to attend one/two top up session(s), annually (on average). This is because new hair may grow on the body which was not originally there when you were undergoing your course.
