Can I wax between sessions of IPL?
You must not wax, pluck or epilate the hair between sessions of IPL. This is because in doing so you are removing the root of the hair.
IPL is effective as it heats up and kills the hair root, so if you have removed this root – then there is nothing for the IPL to eliminate and so the treatment will not be effective.
You may shave between sessions of IPL as this method of temporary hair removal will not remove the root of the hair.
