Our qualified practitioners, combined with advanced technology, allow DepiCool to provide effective Intense Pulsed Light treatments under the most stringent safety standards.

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is an innovative and proven technique for permanent hair reduction. IPL was first used in 1995 in the United States and later approved by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) in 1997 as a valid and safe technology for permanent hair reduction.

IPL significantly decreases the amount and thickness of hair on the treated area. Senstivity to the treatment can be quickly detected and there are a number of things which can be done to reduce this both before and after treatment.

There are some guidelines we follow to assess whether it is safe to start a course of treatment.

Depending on the skin and hair type, it will be necessary to perform a certain number of treatments (6-8 sessions, on average). You will be able to see results from the first session, as some of the treated hair will begin to fall out the following weeks.

Side-effects are rare and very temporary in any case. There are no serious known side-effects - find out more about potential side-effects.
